As an engineer on the Guest Engagement team, your mission will be creating the next generation of engagement experiences that help bring new guests into the restaurants, and turn them into regulars.
Design, build and maintain high performing, flexible, and scalable Android solutions running on Toast POS hardware in thousands of restaurants.
Ship features end-to-end, from design through rollout, monitoring for success and iterating based on real-world use.
Build great UX using best practices of modern Android development.
Be an awesome teammate who's all in on collaboration and collective success.
Hands on experience of modern Android tooling and frameworks is a minimum requirement.
Excited about AI-assisted development and LLM-based agents (Claude Code or similar), and interested in pioneering new workflows with the team.
Comfortable reading and integrating with backend services (REST/GraphQL) and curious to work across the stack when needed.
Comfortable with ambiguity, agile delivery, and shipping usable software incrementally.
