DevOps Engineer (Application Deployment & Configuration - K8S) role at Bosch Group (bangalore, India).

Key points

  1. Analyze existing automated deployment standards, process and/or governance to identity and implement improvements.

  2. Coordinate and responsible for the evaluation and preparation for software deployments (Tools, Connectives, Access, Dependencies and released packages) based on deployment guidelines.

  3. Provide the automated deployment for manufacturing applications in Kubernetes (K8S) environment with all necessary components such as App relation services (Kafka, Solace, …)…

  4. Responsible for deployment manufacturing applications to Quality and Production environments. Ensure no impact to Manufacturing business and processes while apply/implement change.

  5. Experience with Software Development Lifecycle – SDLC including development, packaging, releasing and deployment for containerization or non-containerization application.

  6. Experience with API (REST and gRPC), distributed system, database as well as enterprise level systems (ERP).

  7. Familiarity with DevOps and GitOps practices (CI/CD/Cx/…) for automated rollout and processes as well as deployment concept on K8S (Blue-Green, Canary, A/B…).

  8. Well versed in one of the languages (Python, Java, Go).
