Job Overview

The Finance & Reporting Manager will support the CFO in building and managing Paytm Europe's core finance function, with responsibility for financial accounting, statutory and regulatory reporting, tax, treasury, and management information. -Support the Finance aspects of safeguarding and related reporting and controls concerning client funds, working closely with the Payments Finance & Reconciliation Manager and relevant control functions

Key points

  1. Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  2. Review accounting entries and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the Company's financial records.

  3. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.

  4. Prepare and review financial statements under Lux GAAP and support Group reporting under IFRS, where applicable.

  5. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership and the ability to operate effectively in a lean, regulated, and fast-growing business.

  6. Prepare and maintain audit files, supporting schedules, and other financial evidence required for audit and assurance activities.

  7. Manage corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable Luxembourg tax obligations, working with external tax advisers as required.

  8. Ensure tax filings and related payments are accurate and completed within required deadlines.
