Job Overview

Binance is seeking a Fraud Prevention Analyst to join our Brazil fraud team, focused on transactional monitoring, investigation, and fraud prevention within the Pix ecosystem.

Key points

  1. Monitor and action alerts generated by anti-fraud rules and tooling.

  2. Investigate suspicious accounts and transactions, including beneficiary chains traced by MED 2.0 (up to 5 layers).

  3. Execute, within delegated authority, precautionary blocks, account blocks, and relationship terminations.

  4. Handle MED (Mecanismo Especial de Devolução) requests — both received and sent — within the deadlines set by the Pix Regulation…

  5. Hands-on experience with Pix: MED, precautionary blocking, DICT, and fraud markings.

  6. Knowledge of the main fraud typologies affecting banking and payment rails.

  7. Working knowledge of AML/CFT (PLD/FTP), banking secrecy, and LGPD.

  8. Strong writing skills for producing opinions, dossiers, and formal communications.
