L3 Network Engineer (Access Services) (m/f/d)

Job Overview

The L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access.

Key points

  1. This includes overseeing VPN gateways, firewalls and load balancers, Site-to-Site tunnels, maintenance of request portal, monitoring, backup and restore processes.

  2. The role also involves performing hardware patching, configuring network infrastructure, handling 3rd level IT tickets, and coordinating with external partners.

  3. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, setting of in the direction of DevOps and agile working.

  4. Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers…

  5. Education in IT and network areas.

  6. Strong understanding of VPN technologies and firewall configurations.

  7. Experience with MS Guest Accounts and Site-to-Site VPN tunnels.

  8. Ability to solve complex network problems/issues using appropriate diagnostic and monitoring tools.
