L3 Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Overview

The L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access. Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related role, with a focus on VPN gateways, firewalls and loadbalancers, and complex network infrastructures.

Key points

  1. This includes overseeing VPN gateways, firewalls and loadbalancers, MS Guest Accounts, Site-to-Site tunnels, maintanance of BPAT portal, monitoring, backup and restore processes.

  2. The role also involves performing hardware patching, configuring network infrastructure, handling 3rd level IT tickets, and coordinating with external partners.

  3. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, setting of in the direction of DevOps and agile working.

  4. Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers…

  5. Education in IT and network areas.

  6. Strong understanding of VPN technologies and firewall configurations.

  7. Experience with BPAT Tool and network monitoring tools.

  8. Ability to solve complex network problems/issues using appropriate diagnostic and monitoring tools.
