Job Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who cares deeply about building scalable systems and seamless user experiences — and who understands that great internationalisation is both a technical and cultural challenge.

Key points

  1. Design, build, and evolve the platforms and services that power localization, translation workflows, and global content delivery across Spotify.

  2. Develop high-quality frontend and backend solutions that enable product teams to ship globally from day one.

  3. Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across missions to ensure internationalisation is embedded early in the development lifecycle.

  4. Improve developer experience by creating intuitive tooling, documentation, and self-serve frameworks.

  5. You are experienced with modern frontend frameworks (such as React) and backend development (such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or similar technologies).

  6. You have a deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and scalable service architecture.

  7. You know how to design systems with global scale, localization, and performance in mind.

  8. You care about developer experience and building tools that empower other engineers.
