Job Overview

As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will help customers and partners move from design to production-ready execution quickly and safely.

Key points

  1. Deliver production-ready Temporal implementations by co-building initial workflows with customer and partner engineering teams.

  2. Implement and teach production-safe workflow patterns, including retries, timeouts, heartbeats, determinism, and versioning.

  3. Identify and remove early activation blockers before they become escalations.

  4. Help customers stand up and operate Temporal Server in production, including self-hosted environments.

  5. Experience delivering and operating production systems where reliability and incident response matter.

  6. Strong understanding of distributed systems, failure modes, scaling tradeoffs, and operational safety.

  7. Hands-on coding ability in at least one major language such as Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript.

  8. Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud and or self-hosted environments.
