As a Product Backend Engineer on Harvey’s product engineering team, you will design and operate the backend systems that turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into seamless, dependable product experiences.

Key points

  1. Collaborate closely with Product to prioritize customer-focused work and deliver reliable features quickly in a fast-moving environment.

  2. Design and own backend services and APIs that power Harvey’s web applications, workflows, and integrations.

  3. Model and manage data in Postgres and related data stores to support low-latency, reliable user experiences.

  4. Build secure, multi-tenant, permissions-aware systems with appropriate auditing for enterprise and government customers.

  5. Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products by leveraging PWA technologies.

  6. Track record of shipping highly intuitive products, strong attention to detail.

  7. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with a modern web framework (e.g., FastAPI or Flask).

  8. Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres).
