Senior Software Engineer (Contract)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance both the backend services and user-facing applications delivered through our rapidly growing cloud platform.

Key points

  1. Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains the cloud-based applications, RESTful APIs, and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions' products.

  2. In this role, you will work across the full technology stack, building scalable microservices, intuitive web interfaces…

  3. You'll collaborate closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams, applying your software development expertise, system design thinking…

  4. Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  5. Strong proficiency in software design principles, object-oriented programming, system architecture, and engineering best practices.

  6. Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes to enable reliable and efficient software delivery.

  7. Balance quality, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability considerations.

  8. Experience working with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and modern software development tools.
