Key points

  1. Own the design and delivery of new financing products and features, from architecture through production launch, ensuring correctness and safety across high-value lending operations.

  2. Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frameworks that support loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking.

  3. Drive engineering excellence by improving developer tooling, testing infrastructure, monitoring, and operational reliability across financing systems.

  4. Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable, well-scoped technical solutions each quarter.

  5. Proven track record designing, building, and scaling service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or a comparable backend language.

  6. Experience building and operating distributed systems where correctness, availability, and data integrity are critical.

  7. Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and raise the bar on code quality across a team.

  8. Familiarity with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and observability tooling in a cloud-native environment.
