Software Engineer II (Contract)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance both the backend services and user-facing applications delivered through our rapidly growing cloud platform. You'll collaborate closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams, applying your software development expertise, system design thinking, and problem-solving skills to create secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions.

Key points

  1. Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains the cloud-based applications, RESTful APIs, and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions' products.

  2. In this role, you will work across the full technology stack, building scalable microservices, intuitive web interfaces…

  3. Develop, maintain, and improve core platform services and infrastructure, including provisioning, event-driven services, identity and access management, and shared platform capabilities.

  4. Deliver assigned features end to end, from requirements clarification and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.

  5. Working knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and common design patterns.
