We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the Platform Ops team (Platform Engineering) and lead initiatives that enable developer productivity by building and improving developer tooling and environments, and by improving other productivity tools…

Key points

  1. Lead end-to-end projects that improve developer tooling, environments, and operational workflows (speed, reliability, and safety).

  2. Design and operate internal tooling/services in Python and/or Go.

  3. Build tooling for our internal developer platform (self-service workflows, shared patterns, developer-facing interfaces).

  4. Add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

  5. Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu), including reusable modules, safe state practices, and modernization of shared platform foundations.

  6. Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs) / developer portals / self-service tooling.

  7. Strong experience building and operating production services in Python and/or Go.

  8. Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core primitives (IAM, networking, compute).
