Engineering Manager, Accounting Products

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead the team building the foundation for accounting system and user-facing product features that will streamline and automate accrual accounting for Stripe customers.

Key points

  1. Lead your team of talented engineers to solve data engineering challenges at scale and deliver a high level of technical and operational excellence.

  2. Collaborate with product managers and talk to directly to customers to drive a high-impact, prioritized roadmap for your team.

  3. Recruit, coach, mentor, develop, and grow engineers on your team.

  4. Be deeply involved in launching new product features and capabilities.

  5. We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

  6. Successfully led high-complexity teams, working in parallel on multiple high-impact areas.

  7. Works very well cross-functionally, and is able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs.

  8. Thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
