Junior Writer: Spanish Proofreading & AI Localization (Latam)

Job Overview

You will be the human quality layer in our English-to-Spanish adaptation workflow. You'll work closely with Senior Writers, AI production team, and Voice Artists, and your reviews will help improve the quality of our adaptations over time.

Key points

  1. Review AI-generated Spanish scripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, sentence structure, and register.

  2. Catch mistranslations, literal or awkward phrasing, missing context, dropped lines, and tonal inconsistencies against the English source.

  3. Make sure the adaptation keeps the meaning, tone, emotion, and narrative intent of the original.

  4. Check that dialogue sounds natural for each character and situation, and that the Spanish reads fluently rather than like a translation.

  5. Native Spanish with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  6. Strong English comprehension, to interpret source scripts accurately.

  7. Bachelor's degree in Literature, Languages, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field.

  8. Sharp attention to detail, with an eye for linguistic, contextual, and continuity errors.
