Presales System Engineer, Territory - PACA (Remote: Marseille or Aix-based)

Job Overview

(formerly Pure Storage) is adding a Systems (Presales) Engineer to our Commercial district in France, covering the PACA region from Marseille or Aix-en-Provence. This is a field presales role for someone with 5+ years of hands-on SE experience who enjoys owning a territory.

Key points

  1. Own the technical relationship across your territory: discovery, architecture, demos, proofs of concept and technical closure, on Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud platform.

  2. Take the initiative in large accounts: build activity, find new use cases, and create opportunities rather than wait for them.

  3. Sell outcomes, not boxes: position services and consumption models (Evergreen//One, storage-as-a-service) credibly with IT and finance stakeholders.

  4. Work day to day with your Account Executives and with channel partners in the region.

  5. Experience selling services, subscription or consumption models: you can explain the commercial side as well as the technical one.

  6. A senior, autonomous way of working: you take initiative, drive activity in large accounts, and manage your own agenda.

  7. Curiosity: you learn new technology quickly and like finding new use cases for it.

  8. Based in or near Marseille / Aix-en-Provence, with a driving licence.
