Job Overview

As a Commercial Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our sales team to understand our Commercial customers’ complex business needs and showcase how Fivetran’s data replication solutions can help them achieve their desired business outcomes.

Key points

  1. Develop and deliver technical presentations to Commercial audiences.

  2. Ensure the technical win by running an organised proof-of-value process.

  3. Work closely with multiple cross-functional organisations, driving change and improvements to Fivetran as a whole.

  4. Work closely with multiple Sales representatives, while maintaining a high level of customer focus and technical excellence.

  5. AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Grafana, Linux, Windows, Python, Java.

  6. Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies with some form of hands on experience.

  7. Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools.

  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills with a keen ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
