Senior Software Engineer - Access Management

Job Overview

We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business. The Access Management team owns the core systems that determine what users, applications, and automated workloads can do across the Databricks platform.

Key points

  1. Design, build, and operate scalable authorization systems that enforce access control across the Databricks platform.

  2. Own complex technical projects end-to-end, from design through delivery and production operation.

  3. Drive technical decisions and contribute to architectural direction for access management infrastructure.

  4. Improve system reliability, performance, and security for high-throughput, low-latency services.

  5. Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production environments.

  6. Experience with one or more programming languages including Java, Scala, C++, or Go.

  7. Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, including concurrency, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure.

  8. Experience with authorization systems, identity management, or security-focused infrastructure.
