Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content team on a contractor basis. In this role, you will create Spanish-language episode videos for our app by adapting approved English-language source videos to Spanish episode audio.

Key points

  1. Create Spanish SRT subtitle files from the episode audio using the AI tool provided by Pocket FM.

  2. Combine English episode motion videos with the corresponding Spanish episode audio and ensure accurate synchronization between audio and visuals.

  3. Review the Spanish narrative and rearrange English source visuals where needed so that the final motion video supports the Spanish story.

  4. Add Spanish subtitles to the completed motion video and submit the episode for quality control review.

  5. Proficiency in professional video-editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or an equivalent tool.

  6. Experience editing narrative video content and synchronizing visuals accurately to an audio track.

  7. Working knowledge of subtitle creation and SRT files, including timing, readability, and placement.

  8. Familiarity with AI-assisted video, image, or subtitle-generation tools and a willingness to use Client-designated tools.
