This role is for an experienced MRO Commodity Manager to be based at Western Digital US sites (San Jose or Fremont).
Develop MRO category strategies for local operations aligned with global category management strategies, including Sustainability related sourcing initiatives.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify and qualify capable suppliers; initiate and manage Requests for Proposals and Quotations (RFPs/RFQs)…
Lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection processes, applying rigorous scoring criteria to evaluate proposals in accordance with company policies.
Negotiate Procurement agreements, including Master Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders, balancing business objectives, legal requirements, and cost considerations.
Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
Other professional certifications like PMP, CPSM, CPCM will be desired.
Demonstrated skills in negotiating and formulating MRO services contracts, understanding cost models and various price structures, management of contractual…
