Job Overview

Western Digital's Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO) is building a Business Process Governance (BPG) program — a new, centralized governance function responsible for the integrity, currency, and audit-readiness of all business processes and procedures…

Key points

  1. This program replaces fragmented, function-by-function documentation practices with a single, durable governance model that keeps policy and operational practice in sync…

  2. The Business Process Governance Specialist is a core member of the BPG team, working directly under the BPG Program Lead.

  3. This is not a content authorship role.

  4. Procedure content is owned and written by functional SMEs.

  5. Demonstrated experience managing a procedure or document library at scale — including ownership assignment, version control, review cadence, and audit trail requirements.

  6. Working knowledge of audit control frameworks; ability to map process documentation to control requirements (Internal Audit, ISO, SOX, or equivalent).

  7. Exposure to or experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, or Global Operations environments — enough to engage functional SMEs as a credible peer.

  8. Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple workstreams, track deliverables across stakeholders, and escalate systematically.
