Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

Scale is looking for a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key points

  1. Ensure revenue is booked correctly and on time, and that the company remains compliant with ASC 606.

  2. Review standard and non-standard contracts, during negotiation and after signature, to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.

  3. Month-end close: Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entry preparation and review and key account reconciliations.

  4. Analyze and operationalize complex transactions under U.S. GAAP including revenue, cost to fulfill, and commissions.

  5. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license required.

  6. Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, including review of non-standard contracts.

  7. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to convert technical research and interpretation into a practical solution.

  8. Ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
