Head of UK Legal, Deputy General Counsel

Job Overview

As Deputy General Counsel and Head of Legal, UK, you will lead the UK legal function, working closely with the UK CEO and other key UK stakeholders and reporting into the Global Legal team.

  1. Analyzing and advising on the legal risk of new and existing digital assets and managing the legal component of the new asset review process.

  2. Collaborating with product and business development teams to achieve company-wide projects and goals; and.

  4. You will be working from OKX's London office three days a week. You may work remotely two days a week.

  5. Law degree at a top-tier law school and qualified to practice law in the U.K.

  6. Experience advising on digital asset and blockchain technology legal issues and have a basic understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory landscape.

  7. Experience working with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and obtaining U.K. financial services and/or crypto exchange licenses.

  8. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage and multi-cultural environment.
